Bird with olive branch
This one of a kind pendant is inspired from a miniature painted by the Armenian miniaturist Asdvadzadour in 1419. The original miniature is found in the Avedaran Vasbouragan (Vasbouragan Gospel). Stylized birds were widely used to decorate manuscripts during the Middle Ages.
Pendant is set in a sterling silver bezel, while the cloisonne enameling is laid on a thin copper sheet covered with 24K gold and fine silver foil.
As every piece is hand-crafted, your selected artwork may have a slight variation compared to the adjoining photograph.
Hand polished sterling silver 18" chain included (other lengths available on request).
Pendant dimensions: length: 3.5 cm, height: 2.7 cm
