Birds in Time Cloisonné Pendant, Inspired by 15th Century Armenian Manuscript Art
A one of a kind pendant celebrating the timeless artistry of medieval Armenia. The vibrant two-bird motif is inspired by a miniature painted by renowned Armenian miniaturist Asdvadzadour in 1419, originally found in the Vasbouragan Gospel. During the Middle Ages, stylized birds were a beloved and symbolic element in Armenian illuminated manuscripts, representing grace, life and the divine.
The cloisonné enamelling is laid on a thin copper sheet covered with 24K gold and fine silver foil, then set in a hand polished sterling silver bezel — where centuries-old artistry meets contemporary wearable craft.
As every piece is hand-crafted, your pendant may carry slight variations from the photograph, making it entirely one of a kind.
