Medieval Bird Cloisonné Circle Pendant, Inspired by 13th Century Armenian Manuscript Art
A one of a kind circular pendant drawing inspiration from the rich artistic tradition of 13th century Armenian illuminated manuscripts. Birds were a beloved and symbolic motif in medieval manuscript illustration, representing grace, the divine and the natural world. This contemporary interpretation brings that ancient imagery to life in vibrant cloisonné enamel.
The enamelling is laid on a fine silver base with 24K gold and fine silver foiling, adding lustre, depth and a luminous quality that honours the golden age of Armenian manuscript art.
As every piece is hand-crafted, your pendant may carry slight variations from the photograph, making it entirely one of a kind.
